Text Box: On 28.01.2011, at about 0305 hrs troops observed suspected movements of Pakistani smugglers. On being challenged the smugglers escaped taking advantage of dark night. A special search operation was conducted at about 1145 hrs in the AOR of BOP Jagdish, wherein 04 pkts of heroin were recovered near BP No. 193/07, in the AOR of BOP Jagdish. Text Box: On 19.03.11 at about 1345 hrs, a joint ops was carried out by BSF and SSOC  ASR near Amritsar – TarnTaran Road and one Indian smuggler namely Shinder Singh @ Shinder (22), s/o late Saroop Singh r/o Ibban Kallan PS –Chattwind  was apprehended and FICN Rs 1,20000/- was recovered from his possession. Text Box: 24.03.11 -SEIZURE OF FICN- Rs. 3,00,000/-  BOP RAJAMOHATTAM - FEROZEPUR SECTOR Text Box: Based on specific information,  a special search was conducted on 24th March 2011, in general area of BOP Raja Mohtham in between BP No. 212/7 to 212/8, wherein a polythene bag containing three brown envelopes each containing 02 bundles of FICN of Rs. 500/- denomination (total FICN Rs. 3 lakh) were recovered near bushes at a distance of approx 02 mtrs from IB and approx 200 mtrs from B S fencing near BP No. 212/7.  PICTURE NOText Box: On 01.10.2011, during checking by Kissan Guards, 02 Kgs of heroin hidden in a heap were recovered at Gate No.233 , from two persons namely Kashmir Singh and Pritam Singh both s/o Milkha Singh r/o Jodhawala, in the AOR of BOP Jodhawala, of Abohar Sector. Text Box: 07.09.2011-  SEIZURE OF ONE KG HEROIN - BOP MASTAGATTI, FEROZEPUR SECTOR On the night intervening 06/07 Sept 2011,troops deployed at BOP Mastagatti, observed some suspicious movement on both side of B S Fencing. On being challenged suspected persons managed to escape. A special search operation was launched in the AOR of BOP Mastagatti and 01 Pkt (01 Kg) of heroin was recovered from the field near B S Fencing in the alignment of BP No. 202/3.

Text Box:   On 01.10.2011, Kissan guard party of BOP Adhian, during patrolling recovered 1.540 Kgs of Methaquilon (Synthetic Drug) from the field near BP No.23/07, BOP Adhian, of Gurdaspur Sector.

Text Box: 23.10.2011 SEIZURE OF THREE KGs HEROIN - BOP MUTHIANWALA, FEROZEPUR SECTOR             Based on  specific information,  a special search operation was carried out on 23-10-2011 at about 0730 hrs, by the troops of BOP Muthianwala between BP No. 174/9 to 174/12.  At about 231100 hrs the search party recovered one black polythene bag buried in the field of one Joginder Singh, s/o Geja Singh, r/o JN Mohd in the alignment of BP No. 174/12 between BFL Pole No. 338 and 339. The suspected polythene bag contained 03 packets of heroin weighting approx. 1 Kg each.  POO is appx. 50 mtrs from IB and 100 mtrs from  B S Fence.

Text Box: 04.10.2011-SEIZURE OF 15 KGs HEROIN - BOP DAOKE, AMRITSAR SECTOR Text Box: On the intervening night of 03/04 Oct 2011, troops of BOP Daoke observed some suspected movements on both sides of B S Fencing. On being challenged smugglers on both sides managed to escape by taking advantage of crops and dark night. On search of the area, 15 Kgs heroin was recovered in the alignment of BP No.112/09, in the area of BOP Daoke of Amritsar Sector.  

 


 

 

 

 

 

 

Text Box: 05/06 OCT 2011 - SEIZURE OF 27 KGs HEROIN - BOP RAJATAL, AMRITSAR SECTOR  


 

Text Box:             A special operation was carried out by the troops of BOP Rajatal, which resulted in recovery of  27 packets heroin each weighing 01 kg  (with 03 packets each tied in cloth pieces) suspected to be heroin the intervening night of 05/06 Oct 2011 near the alignment of BP No.110/20, of Amritsar Sector. On being challenged smugglers on both sides managed to escape by taking advantage of crops and darkness.

Text Box: Acting on a tip off, a special ambush was laid on 06 Oct 2011, by the troops of  BOP J N Mohd.  Some suspected movement of Pak smuggler was observed ahead of B S Fencing.             On thorough search of the area, FICN Rs.1,98,500/-,one Chinese Pistol, 03 mag and 20 rds were recovered near BP No.174/08.

Text Box: Based on  specific information, a special operation was carried out in the AOR of BOP Gattiyaru of Abohar Sector on 28.11.11 in between 1045 hrs to 1245 hrs. Special operation party seized 05 pkts wrapped with yellow adhesive tape (01 big pkt and 04 small pkts) in blue colour polythene under the Lasuri tree near BP NO.238/M, at a distance of appx 150 mtrs from IB, appx 300 mtrs from BS Fence. Text Box:             On 01.12.11 at about 0430 hrs, troops of BOP Naushera Dhalla noticed some suspicious movement ahead of B S Fence between BP No. 124/30-31.  Troops challenged the suspect but he started running towards Pak side.  Subsequently, troops opened fire on the fleeing suspect but he succeeded to escape taking shelter of water channel and high growth of wild grass.  During search of the area in between BP No. 124/30-31, 05 Packets (4.5 Kgs) of Heroin and FICN worth Rs. 9,80,000/-were recovered.  The POO is approx. 200 Mtrs from IB. Text Box: Acting on a tip off, a Special search operation  was carried out on 24.12.11 by BSF troops in the AOR of BOP Tapu, in the alignment of BP No 177/6. During search, at about 241215 hrs FICN Rs 9,84,000/- wrapped in 11 bundles was recovered. The POO is approx 300 mtrs from IB, appx 600 mtrs from B S Fencing and appx 800 mtrs from BOP Tapu. Text Box: Based on  specific information, on night intervening 20-21 Jan 2012 at about 210045 hrs. special nakas of BOP Muthianwala detected movement of 03 Pak smugglers, approaching and inserting pipe into BS Fencing. After exchange of fire with miscreants,14 Pkts of narcotics (heroin)along with a pipe was recovered during search of the area.  The POO is approx. 150 mtrs from IB (inside B S Fence).   Text Box: 21.01. 2012 - SEIZURE OF 14 KGs HEROIN -  BOP MUTHIANWALA, FEROZEPUR SECTOR Text Box:             On 18-01-2012, at about 0140 hrs naka party noticed Pakistani smugglers attempting to insert pipe through B S Fence. On being challenged Pakistan smugglers fled towards Pakistan. During search, 17 pkts of heroin, FICN worth Rs. 9,68,000/- one Mobile hand set and plastic pipe  having 10-12 feet of length were recovered from the spot. POO is approx-100 mtrs from IB (BP No.119/22-23),  10 mtrs from B S Fencing and 1500 mtrs from BOP Bharopal.

Text Box:             On the intervening night of 3rd/4th Feb’ 2012, troops observed suspected movement of persons from Pak side near IB .Adjoining troops was immediately alerted. On being challenged Pakistan smugglers fled towards Pakistan. During search of the area, 13 pkts of heroin, pistol-01, mag-01 and rds-08 were recovered near the alignment of BP No. 145/3. POO is approx-120 mtrs from IB (BP No.145/3), 30 mtrs from B S Fencing and 800 mtrs from BOP Pallopati.

Text Box: 04.02.2012 - SEIZURE OF 10 KGs HEROIN - BOP GHOGA, AMRITSAR SECTOR  

 

Text Box:             On the intervening night of 3rd/4th Feb’ 2012, a special naka was laid in the AOR of BOP Ghoga. At about 2330, naka party noticed suspected movement of Pakisitani smugglers  opposite BP No. 81/M, who were  attempting to insert pipe through B S Fence. The special naka party challenged the miscreants. On being challenged Pakistan smugglers tried to escape towards Pakistan. Naka party opened fire to check their misadventure , however the smugglers fled towards Pakistan away taking advantage of dark night. During thorough search of the area, a PVC pipe (appx-12 feet long x 5 inch dia) containing 10 pkts of heroin was recovered.             POO is approx-400 mtrs from IB (BP No.81/M) and 900 mtrs from BOP Ghoga.
